Here She Comes . . . Miss Tibet 2006 . . .

Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh) -- The annual Miss Tibet pageant will be held this year Oct 13 to 15.
Lobsang Wangyal, producer-director of the pageant, said the event would be held at McLeodganj here.
Wangyal said preparations were in full swing and the girls were "getting ready for the event."
"The fifth edition of the pageant is ready and, like we said before, we will have a nice surprise this year since we are going to have the biggest number of participants in the pageant's history," Wangyal told IANS.
The participants will reach McLeod Ganj Oct 5.
A press conference will be held the next day to introduce the participants. Then a week's training, grooming and orientation on Tibetan history, culture, current affairs will commence.
The winner of Miss Tibet pageant will receive a scholarship cheque of Rs.100,000 rupees ($2,100).
Dharamsala is the seat of the Dalai Lama's government-in-exile, which is not recognized by any country. It is also home to thousands of Tibetans. McLeodganj, a small hill town, is known as Little Lhasa.
